Should we be more than friends?

we have both told eachother we like eachother. we're really open. we agreed that we are frends taht like eachother and going to the movies is kinda like a trial date beacsue we havent doen anything together apart from a group yet. we are seeing a movie we already saw together in a group and that time, we snuggled up agaginst echother and i fed him malteasers. this time, ill still lean against him but i want him to put his arm around me and i want to kiss him if the right moment comes up. I Have no problem with making the first move however i dont know how he will respond to that. we have been really good friends for about a year and a half and i know him pretty well, but ive never been in a physically romantic situation with him. So is there anything i can do to get him to make a move like puting his arm around me or get him to kiss me???
